The Den was established in July 2012 when due to a change in personal circumstances Lora went from having a home salon to needing a space to continue her work as a beautician.  After making 100’s of enquiries around Baldock, The Arena came up trumps & the vacant unused storage block that was originally built as the ticket office for the footy matches, became the new Beauty Den!

Fast forward over a decade and The Den has undergone many renovations & recently a refurb/rebrand to reflect its growth.  

​

Its gone from Lora solo, to now Lora, Evie, Ali, Sarah, Lisa, Sue & Jodie.

​

The only focus Lora has ever had, is for The Den to offer a personable & friendly service that makes all people feel welcome, all judgement & gossip is left at the door & everyone that visits, leaves us feeling good about themselves & confident to face the world as their true self.

​

To this day, everyone that comes through our door is like family, we have built an amazing space, that albeit small like a little Den, it is a community built on love, understanding & trust.  On top of the excellent treatments and services available, we are a team that is approachable and dedicated to the experience we provide our clients.

​

The recent rebrand to The Den in January 2020 birthed a new symbolic logo, it is adapted from Viking translations and the meaning of that logo is this;

​

I am a warrior, I am free, I am worthy of love.

​

Interestingly this rebrand came before the arrival of Covid.  At the time I didn’t know how poignant that symbol & its meaning would be!! 

 

The Den is a happy place & I hope it can continue to be a happy place for all those that come through the door.
